Each septic system has to be planned, (designed) and filed in accordance to the BC Health Authorities regulations before the local government office will issue a building permit.
I work directly with Wastewater Installers to ensure the critical design requirements and dimensions are in compliance to the Health Authority Regulations.
The best way to know if a design works well is to maintain it, so I get my hands dirty maintaining and repairing previous designs so I learn what to do to improve my designs!
Graeme Harfman, ROWP , B.Eng.
I grew up on Anarchist Summit, traveled most of the world on business, lived in Ontario, Alberta and California, but the Okanagan, Boundary, and West Kootenay area is my "Home". I had to learn the hard way that this is the best place on earth! How about you?
In 2020, we jumped at the opportunity to come home, close to family, old friends, and finding new friends too! Daniela is happy with her horse, and the kids are free to play, roam, experiment, make mistakes, and learn, just as Dad did!
I spent 25 years managing technology products and people, it was always indoors, not much engineering, and I never got dirty! Now I get to dig holes, analyze and test dirt, create drawings, design and build systems, troubleshoot, and meet great people like you.
I am grateful for the assistance of many BC wastewater pros helping to kick this venture off. They are a welcoming community willing to share knowledge and experience.
Now, lets get to work and get your septic done!
My design goals are to meet the health regulations with the most reliable and cost effective system and exceed your expectations!
